Command and Control Battle Management Operations
Overview: The continuous radar monitoring of global air space and utilization of electronic control and warning systems is a vital part of our nation's security and defense. Highly trained Command and Control Battle Management Operations personnel operate these sophisticated radar and electronic systems from both fixed military installations and deployed locations.

Specific Tasks:
- Manage and operate Command and Control Battle Management Operations, including functions involving electronic countermeasures (ECM) and counter-countermeasures (ECCM), surveillance, data link management, identification and weapons control
- Provide radar control and monitoring of air weapons during offensive and defensive air operations
- Maintain maximum radar sensitivity using ECCM techniques to eliminate degradation caused by electronic warfare (EW) activities or other influences
Requirements:
- HS diploma or GED. Completion of HS courses in geometry and algebra are desireable.
- Qualified for Ground Based Controller (GBC) duties
- Normal color vision
- Ability to speak English clearly and distinctly in accordance with Medical Standards Directory
- ASVAB score of 55 on General
- Must maintain eligibility to deploy and mobilize worldwide
- Eligibility for Secret Security clearance
- Must possess a valid state/territory driver’s license to operate government motor vehicles
Training:
- Candidates without prior military experience are required to attend 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training (BMT) at JB San Antonio-Lackland, TX; followed by Technical Training
