Munitions Systems
Overview: Working with devices that are designed to explode and cause damage clearly requires a high level of attention to detail and care. From assembling bombs to loading rockets in launchers, Munitions Systems personnel are experts in the safe and efficient handling, storing, transporting, arming and disarming of weapons systems.

Specific Tasks:
- Operate automated equipment to perform munitions accounting, computations and research
- Store, maintain, assemble, issue and deliver nonnuclear munitions
- Comply with explosive, missile, and ground safety, security and environmental directives
Requirements:
- HS diploma or GED
- Normal color vision and depth perception
- Possess a valid state driver's license to operate a government vehicle
- No record of emotional instability
- Never been convicted of domestic violence IAW the Lautenberg amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968
- ASVAB score of 57 on General or 60 on Mechanical
- Eligibility for a Secret security clearance
Training:
- Candidates without prior military experience are required to attend 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training (BMT) at JB San Antonio-Lackland, TX; followed by Technical Training
