Weather Reconnaissance Navigator/CSO
Overview: WC-130Js normally carry a weather reconnaissance pilot, navigator/CSO, ARWO, weather specialist and loadmaster. The navigator keeps track of the aircraft's position and movement and monitors radar to avoid tornadic activity.

Specific Tasks:
- Proficiency in techniques of all weapons systems
- Perform surveillance and intelligence
- Operate in a specific area of specialty
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree; an undergraduate degree specializing in physical sciences, mathematics, administration or management is desirable
- Commission as an officer in the Air Force Reserve
- Current aeronautical rating and qualification for aviation service as CSO
Training:
- For those without a prior military service commission, successful completion of the eight-week Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, AL is required
- Completion of Air Force Specialized Undergraduate Navigator Training (SUNT) or Undergraduate CSO Training
